This past fall I ✈️flew down to Ohio to meet and shoot Melina & Siobhan’s engagement session at a beautiful Devou Park right outside of Cincinnati (so technically in Kentucky)
They wanted to treasure the last bit of summer vibes, which posed a challenge as most of the summer flowers had already run their cycle and would not pop back up until the next season!
BUT…. We found 2 patches of beautiful flowers🌸🌺🌼 that had been planted and maintained specifically for butterflies🦋 to thrive in! And so my depth of field skills got kicked into high gear as I positioned them in some maybe a-little awkward poses but wow was the photo worth it!
I showed them a few while they were in the middle of the flowers trusting my process, and they were shocked. 😵 Trust your photographer, we know what we are doing.
Can’t wait to shoot their wedding this summer in Vermont!
